Introducing myself..

So, tell me(us) about yourself......

I must admit this is the hardest question you'll ever pose to me.  Sometimes I ask myself who I am and in every instance I'm a different person. Lets just say the response depends on the current mood. So, whats my mood like today? I am excited and anxious in equal measure. I have always wanted to put my thoughts and experiences into text (writing) and here I am, today is the day I begin -excitement. I cant' explain the anxiety 😊

My name is Leah Wairimu Maina. I hate my first name,I rarely introduce myself by it. Given a chance to choose a different one, I'd take Jasmine. Recently, the name Lady Vibrant has gained popularity. a couple of weeks ago, someone asked me , "why Lady Vibrant ?" its a simple explanation

Contrary to the title Lady I am girl. I like to identify myself as a girl because I refuse to "grow up" . I want to remain this weird and quirky girl. I don't attribute to the adage of "inner child", I prefer to live openly as that child. 😊

Talking of me being a child, I am my mother's Forth child, out of her Seven. Six girls, and one boy born after me but only survived this world less than 24 hours .This is something I never mention in my talk, you'll just hear me say I come from an all girls family. 

I was born on 22nd July 1989, in Embu county. Spent the first six years of my life there then moved to Nyeri . Went to school , lived and worked in Nyeri most of my life until I moved to my current location in 2020. I'm a typical village girl.

 

Over the years, I have come to develop a passion for different things : Farming, Travel and Cooking & baking. These are stories I have to tell separately. 

What else defines a person ? Hobbies, maybe..  I love to do several things, still depending on mood. Reading novels, camping, cooking(I love me good food and I enjoy trying out new things in my kitchen). If sleeping counts as a hobby, well in. You're are definitely going to catch me napping if I'm not outside running. Ooh yeah, I'm a recreational runner. 

 

I am a mother to three adorable creatures namely Esteban, Lexi and Bella.  Call me a Dog mom. Only Esteban is surviving. I lost the other two babies. May their souls Rest In Peace. They are forever missed.

Red is my favorite color. In the past year, I've come to love blue. Reason being, someone told me blue looks grand on me and that stuck in my mind. So did the person . One day , I will write about him !

Almost everyone  I meet comments about my smile. 😍 I really don't know what's captivating about it, but I make sure to smile more 

Other random things about me

• I have 28 teeth , my wisdom teeth never popped, maybe its the reason i also refuse to "grow up and mature".... hahaha....
• I love spicy food
• I struggle with anxiety 
• I'm right handed but can also write with my left.
• I cry a lot at the slightest provocation.
• Haven't been to church for almost two years now. 
• Had an accident on my third day in driving school ( hit a fence on reverse)
• I hold a grudge with someone; which I might take to the grave.
• I laugh a lot .... 

Maybe you're wondering about my Father because I only mentioned I'm my mother's Forth child. Well, on that point, I will not speak for him. I have a dad who likes to stay "cool" and oblivious of things. He doesn't talk much and I don't talk much about him.
